Diver's Notes

The water condition was not good and I believe the dive company (Byron Bay Dive Centre) should have called the dive off. it was a nice and sunny day but too windy and the water was too bumpy. For the first time in my life I got seasick and started to through up after the dive. the visibility was so poor and I was so cold during the dive. my dive buddy went up to the surface as soon as he descend because of a problem with his mask. because of that the divemasters split us into 2 groups and I continued with another guid. when we ascend back to the surface we couldn't find my buddy and someone spotted my buddy and the DMT's red sign around 500-600m away from the boat that the current took them to. during the dive I saw 2 green sea turtles and a massive stingray.
