Lead a fun dive with a big French group.

Perfect dive! 4 leopard sharks, one swimming along the reef. 6 blue spotted stingrays. Cuttlefish, super curious cornetfish. Turtle, huge moray. Great. Lead around the same group of French kids. Nice bunch.

Great viz and lots to see. Saw about 20 squid hunting together. Pipefish, crabs, a gobie with 2 partner shrimp. Flounders. Nice dive.

Lead Sarah on another fun dive. First time I have seen two sea snakes on the same dive.

Assist on Open Water Dive #3. Beware of student buoyancy going bad. Check for signs before a problem arises.

Vid/Photo for DSD Group. Saw a really nice zebra moray. Spent five minutes alone at the end of the dive watching a dozen blacktip reef sharks hunting around me.

5 black tips. Supervised Echo's OW #3. Poor Echo had a lot of trouble with the giant stride entry, so this time I stayed on board to help her in first.

2 black tips. Turtle. Tastiest damn lobsters I have ever seen in my life. Echo was much better on the giant stride this time.

Lead Fabio/Colin around with very little vis. Saw some hermit crabs, slugs, mantis shrimp and a turtle.

Strong, surging currents and very little vis made for some on point navigation. Stayed mostly in the central bay, which is most protected, yet we still saw some good stuff. Nice turtle.

FD: Calum, Damien and Michele. Not a bad dive. Saw a ray and a turtle. Also saw 2 Golander's Toby, they live on the artificial reef. The all black batfish that joined the crowd was also quite interesting. Shared air with Michele for 20 mins.

FD: Calum, Damien, Michele. Found Calum 2 Leopard Sharks. Mission accomplished. Had a remora attached to me literally the entire dive.

FD: Eva and Susana. Found a turtle and a ray. Shared air with Eva for 10 minutes.

FD: Eva, Susana Same leopard shark was out. Also saw the smallest banded sea snake of my life.

FD: Colin Saw a flounder and some eels, nice boxfish as well.

FD: Colin No vis at all. Saw a cuttlefish and a few nudibranchs, that's it.

FD: Alise and Geir Great divers to take out. Experience, independent and awesome attitudes. Golander's toby, eels, flounder, sea snakes. Good stuff.

FD: Alise and Geir. Really variable vis on this dive, still saw some great stuff. Leopard sharks, a turtle and a cuttlefish

FD: Jems, Calum, Shauna Shared air with Jems for the last 15 minutes of the dive. Saw a turtle and that's about it. Beautiful reef though. About 15 squid.

Nice dive. Cuttle fish, shark. Was good to see Jems improve on his air consumption so drastically after my pointers as well. He made a nearly 60 minute dive without having to share.

FD: Dorien, Alex Leopard Shark, Blacktip Reef Shark and Blue-Spotted Stingers abound.

FD: Alex, Dorien 2 turtles, lots of nudibranchs. The biggest Varicose Wart Slug I have ever seen, literally the size of my hand. Cuttlefish as well.

FG: Agi Shared air for 10 minutes. Saw a leopard shark, lots of blacktips, nudis and eels, a huge sea snake and cuttlefish.

2 turtles, 5 blacktips and that familiar, ginormous varicose wart slug again.

FD: Fabio (again) and Dorien (again) Beautiful adolescent Leopard Shark, blacktips, and for the first time, the entire school of yellow snapper was completely consolodated. Brilliant. There was also a turtle at the end of the dive who made his ascent with us. Great dive.

FD: Dorien, Fabio Perfect dive afternoon complete. Countless blacktips. 2 turtles. Squid. Cuttlefish right at the end.

FD: Victoria, Phillip and Fabio. First lead as a DM on a night dive. Great spot, with lots of active squid and giant barracuda hunting. Beautiful cave at the end of the bay as well, with tons of color and life.

FD: Dario, Philip, Victoria Tore up my second shark cage, on the queen's birthday no less. It was exhausting. Meanwhile, the sharks won: 3 leopars and 5 black tips.

FD: Fabio, Phillip, Victoria 2 Turtles, a lot of black tips again.

FD: Jean-Michel, awesome Belgian translator. Glad to get the opportunity to see the wreck in brilliant conditions. Stunning. Literally, a wall of fish surrounded the boat as we descended, to the point that she was no longer visible. 25m visibility, but you couldn't see the wreck because of the fish cloud. Countless barracuda of 3 different type. Not to mention swarms of snappers and wrasse, plus cardinalfish lurking in the shadows. Lionfish and scorpionfish abound.

FD: Jean-Michel Beautiful site. 2 white eyed moray. A giant moray on the prowl. Nudis and worms abound. A beautiful orange/black spotted flat worm. Interesting site to lead as a dive master, with currents whirring about through the pinnacles.

FD: Jean-Michel Third shark cage, this time even the customer got involved. So much for marine reserves. Lots of great black tip sightings, 14-15. Unfortunately the water was full of jellies (Me in my shortie!). Also saw countless squid and cuttlefish, interesting activity on the reef most definitely. Hunting time.

FD: "The Tree Brazilians" Beautiful black and white lion fish. Introduced the trio to their first leopard shark. Found a second rare box fish. Sadly, this waas the first dive after Ae disappeared at Palong, where I dived just a half hour before. Ae was a boat boy from Nakkohn Si Tammarat.Definitely a personal loss, as after I found the guy diving with no fins, I ended a dive with customers to get him safely out of the water and educated him immediately on how to properly use a BCD/gauges and fins. I told him he shouldn't be diving nonetheless, even with proper knowledge. I feel both sad/maddened, a sense of loss for the team, myself and my coworker Jesus.

FD: "The Three Brazilians" Nice to see this site in brilliant conditions. Unfortunately, I had a date with my fifth shark cage, held the brazilians back from helping. Found out that Ae's body was recovered at Palong. Search didn't begin until nearly 10:30am.

FD: Lille "De France" 4 Leopard Sharks. Same box fish sighted. Brilliant customer almost touched a lion fish, good thing I was watching her. Crazy. Shared air: 20 mins

FD: Lille Tons of black tips and nudis. 2 beautiful and calm cuttlefish. Shared air for the last 10 minutes of the dive.

FD: "The Three Brazilians" Nice job by me, recovering a mask at 20m, in the sand. Saved my diver 500 baht, all the while I got to see 5 rays.

FD: Ayesa, plus "The Three Brazilians Part Deux" Crazy sand cloud and current kicked in on the shallow reef. Carried us to the end of the island, where I ended the dive.

15-20 blacktips. Meanwhile, I tore up my sixth shark cage. After a few weeks of cage killing, I think it is safe to say I have thwarted the fishermen, considering we descended right down on a Leopard Shark.
