Dive No. 56 Dive Buddies: Sean, Chris, Christian Low Tide at Shaw's Cove. My 2nd dive here. Many students in this area. Decided to try site anyway. Visibility was 0 just after the tunnel areas where surf broke over the reef. Lost Chris and Christian at this time. Eventually met Chris and Christian at the shore after we headed back. Chris had a mild injury to thigh after current pushed him into rock. 1 fin was lost. Sean found a small Octopus hiding in a rock on the way back to shore.

Dive No. 57 Dive Buddies: Sean, Chris, Clint, Marilyn, BJ, SCD Dove to Crescent Bay I was performing rough lead I had missed dead henge and took a bearing due west in hopes of finding the reef. Came across different reef environment. Saw sheep crab, moray eel, big lobsters, and sea hare. Surfaced after reading BJ's air at 878 psi. We had reached past the other side of Seal Rock. We decided to surface swim behind seal rock to get back to the cove.

Entered sandy area inline with lifeguard tower, left of halfway rock. Surface swam to outer reef. Drop down point at Kelp patch north of pinnacle of the reef. Visibility was poor 15ft. Good amount of surge. Did not find the Underwater Arch. Cold dive at 51 degrees at the outer reef.
