Diver's Notes

My first dive in Croatia! Great visibility, friendly people and beautiful underwater landscapes. Seahorses, laaarge sea stars, beatiful walls, caves and overhangs and itty-bitty mulicolored nudibranches.
It was clearly not a PADI diveshop. It was just: "We're here, you dive with him, now get into the water". We also saw a huge discarded fishing net hanging over a reef cliff. The owner of the dive shop told me it was impossible to gather enough divers to do the clean up. There are many shops here, all with only very few regular members, as they all live off of tourist divers. They compete with each other so heavily that a group effort is out of the question. How un-AWARE!
