Species Identified

Pterois volitans (Linnaeus, 1758) (Red lionfish)
Citharichthys arctifrons Goode, 1880 (Gulf Stream flounder) Occurs in deeper water. Rarely found in shallow water.
Centropristis striata (Linnaeus, 1758) (Black seabass) Commonly found around rock jetties and on rocky bottoms in shallow water. Marketed fresh and eaten fried, broiled and baked .
