Diver's Notes

Excellent very last dive at Mbonege. First time I found some anemone shrimp by myself!! Went to take a pic of an anemone I hadn't noticed before and there they were a whole bunch of purple/semi transparent shrimp! Was found on the right side of the wreck at about 27m. Nick and I ascended to the top of the wreck to continue our dive and I stopped to take a pic of another pretty anemone and there were some more!! Was great a few of the pics came out well!!
Lots of fish on the top of the wreck at about 15m where the current was bring lots of nutrients to them. Was a fabulous way to end my diving at Mbonege!
After the dive, another diver we saw early in our dive said there was a turtle not far from us!! Unfortunately we didn't see it as we headed in the other direction!
Custom fee was $50 per diver, tank hire $60 per tank. Weight belt was $30 (inc 4 weights). I needed 5 weights to be comfortable at 5m at the end of the dive. Wore 0.5m wetsuit, no gloves, no hood.
