Diver's Notes

Nice drift dive, very flat plateau and little life at this time of the year. Others were doing the D** exam at the same time and didn't report anything exciting. We came across a dormant dog fish, who was not willing to run and would have made for a great model if I would have brought my camera. Second encounter of note was a grand-grand-grand-dad of an octopus kind - very milky colors and completely unwilling to move away until we finally got tired and parted. That kind of attitude shows that he's seen our kind around and would not bother swimming because of the two more lingering about for five minutes.
Safety stop had to be cut short as buddy didn't have enough weight apparently and could not remain at the stop for much longer. He was a bit pale, but no worse than he was before going down as it was quite shaky with force 4 blowing from south.
