Diver's Notes

Advanced Nitrox training dive with Stewie/David.
A lot of things going wrong, luckily tackled in the sequence of occurence, so all happily resolved.

- Finger reel and cheap Cressi smb unfolded on descent, noticed and tackled at 6m
- Mask had to be taken out of the pocket - couldnt find where to put it after, Stewie took it, but lesson learn that it can be clipped under chest strap should it happen in future
- At the bottom when buddy in front was belaying line and turning right current pushed me across the line causing trouble, although tackled seamlessly at 20m same can cause serious trouble at depth, lesson learnt is to stay alert and clear when someone reeling
- During the mid-water deployment of the SMB using octopus regulator free flowed - jam locked when pressing purge button. Put this reg into my mouth and deployed bail out bottle, then Stewie turned off the tank and fixed the reg using knife.
Lesson learnt -- best SMB is the one with the bottle, even secondary reg must be robust.
