Diver's Notes

FIRST DIVE WITH CAMERA (canon ixus 960 IS)!

while driving out to dive site, passed a school of SPINNER DOLPHINS! whole group went snorkling with them for about 10 minutes

descent from boat to reef wall, dive out into the blue to look for hammer shark, no luck, return to reef, drift with current alongside reef wall

VIS:
4 eagle rays! unfortunately only far in the distance; beautiful movement of "wings"
white tip reef shark (only shade far away)
trigger fish
morish idle
grouper (different sorts & sizes)
white puffer fish

the really cool thing about this dive was meeting the dolphins! they are very playful and reacted to knocking on the boat; one jumped about 2m out of the water and spun around itself - this typical behaviour gives them the name
