Species Identified
Sebastes atrovirens (Jordan and Gilbert, 1880) (kelp rockfish)
Usually found on or near bottom in kelp beds or rocky areas . Viviparous, with planktonic larvae .
Gibbonsia elegans (Cooper, 1864) (kelpfish)
Found from subtidal rocky areas to 56 m depth, usually in seaweed. Female lays white eggs in seaweed, male guards egg mass.
