Diver's Notes

Beautiful dive... Shot some video with the helmet cam. Best memory was a large barracuda came out from a deep trench that we were exploring and swam slowly by me within 5 feet. There were at least 4 barracuda spotted on this dive. The dive started with a great swim through, it was tight, dark, and about 50 feet in length... it opened out into a trench with a large sandy bed and 2 coral walls on either side that stretched up abut 60 feet.

This dive started then stopped real quick as the dive shop folks did not put any weight into Todd and Sarah's BC from the day before. Normally we would do it but they stored and prepared our gear as part of their service. We got in the water and both Sarah and Todd could not go down... we got back in the boat and they did not have enough extra weight on board... we were the only divers on this boat so we had to go back to shore and get weight. It was an interesting experience...
