    2013-06-17 Fiji Beqa Lagoon
    Shark Reef Marine Reserve

An amazing dive in Beqa Lagoon. We saw a tornado of sharks (mostly nurse and bull sharks but also some lemon sharks) and fish eating fish heads from a garbage can. AWESOME!

    Ss Yongala

Perfect sunny weather and no current. Several other divers stated that they were unable to dive the yongala on several previous occasions because the currents were too strong. We saw Goliath grouper larger than the divers, schools of barracuda, a bull shark, turtles, sea snakes... Everything! We went to the bottom of the ocean for our deep water dive.

    7 Sisters

We swam though tunnels of coral and a Taiwanese shipping vessel that was sunk purposely. We held up sand and the fish would come and try to eat out our hands. We also got to pet a sea turtle. Our guide even found an empty cowry shell for me.

    Silfra

This dive was in between the tectonic plates of N. America and Eurasia. Visibility was amazing - as the water was glacial melt, meaning it was also quite cold. This was our first dry suit dive and it went quite well. It was nice to be dry after the dive was over. Although there is no life here to see, it was amazing to be floating between the continents.
