Shore dive for open water certification. Dove with JADS Dive center in Aruba. Jim and Chad also attended this dive. Calm conditions with a lot of marine life, mostly small tropical fish and the dive was approx. 150 yds. off of the shore.
this was my second shore dive for my open water certification. We dove the same reef that we did in dive number 1. We did see an octopus on this dive.
First boat dive of my open water class. The seas were pretty rough today and both Chad and Jim puked before we descended to the bottom. Current was very strong. We dove a reef with brain coral and a small wrecked airplane.
Last dive of my certification, dove the sponge in Aruba. This was a drift dive with nine divers in the water. Saw an eel in the reef.
First dive as a certified diver. Dove with Jim and Chad. the wives snorkeled above us as we dove this wreck. Conditions were calm and visibility was good. The wreck was intimidating when we first got in the water, the marine life was amazing and there were four large barracudas hanging around us the entire dive. There were six divers in the water and two of the divers went through their air too quickly which created a very short dive. All in all it was a great dive.
