9.1m - 48 min - Dived with Oceandivers
The first dive of the dive trip to Saltee Islands. We went after a wreck of a cargo steamer SS Lennox, which sank in 1916. A lot of rusty metal pieces still there, including the boiler room. Lots of cavities to look into. There was quite noriceable surge, so looking at the kelp movement was somewhat mesmerising. Definitely an interesting dive. Buddy: Dermot Sherlock

The dive plan was to get to and explore an interesting rock formation to the North East of Lennox wreck. However, we could not find it. Resurfaced for reorientation, but still could not get to it. Instead we had a relaxing dive with seal encounters. Buddy: Dermot Sherlock
2023-08-06 - Coningmore Rocks, Saltee Islands, Ireland
16.9m - 47 min - Dived with Oceandivers
The most tiring dive so far. Massive swell and tidal current resulted in a lot of physical work and quicker than usual air depletion. This was the first time that I needed a ladder to get into the boat. Apart from that - the dive site provided with the impressive bottom, nice rock formations. Dive in a trio with Dermot Sherlock and Istvan Berenyi.
