Diver's Notes

Beautiful weather at Mayumi Resort. First off, I'd like to say that the resort is pretty quaint. Peaceful and quiet, but maybe because we were the only guests, apart from a dive instructor and his student. The lunch was excellent, which is expected of most dive resorts in Anilao.

Very nice visibility at the dive site, Dead Palm. At around 70-80 ft, there were yellow sea fans which serves as homes for Pygmy Sea Horses. Wish I had macro lenses for the GoPro!

Our guide, Wilson, was an amazing spotter. We saw Golden Mantis Shrimp, Commensal Shrimp, Wrasse, School of Yellowtail Snapper, School of Juvenile Barracuda, and of course, Pygmy Seahorses.
