Advanced Open Water skills training: Navigation, Unmasked Kick Cycle counting, and Search and Recovery. Pretty lucky to have seen 2 Flounders! And I think a Pipefish. To top it all off, the object we were supposed to find was just beside these creatures! THANK YOU, FLOUNDER, FOR LEADING US TO VICTORY. Also treated with a Mermaid sighting. EXTREMELY rare. :))

First wreck dive. Visibility was better than usual, according to our guide, Mr. George Ang Dy Pay (which, coincidentally, was his birthday today). Went around the LST ship wreck, and saw clams stuck to different fixtures. Quickly saw two humongous bat fish, and a Sting Ray. At the end of the dive, I think the group messed up the site by disturbing the silt.

Started to rain a little, so visibility went from bad to worst. Could barely see the next diver 3 feet in front, much less any sea life. We had to bring out the flashlights. Dive buddy lost air, so we shared one nitrox tank for 2/3 of the dive. It was a good thing that we reached the top without a hitch. Apparently, we learned 3 days after, that her tank was not fully opened. But, all's well that ends well. Great use of the octopus! haha!
