Turtle Town Sandy bottom. Nothing initially. Then we came across a forest of antler corals and a small green turle resting on the sand. Lots of fish on the coral. Some anemones with clown fish And then we saw one, two,.... about 7 big Green Turtles either resting on the reef, or coming back to rest. 3mm wetsuit. Saw an eagle ray, anemone shrimp, spoted stingray, unicorn fish, snappers, oriental sweetlips

Crazy drift dive. I had a feeling of running past the reef, waving hello to resident fish. Certainly my longest dive in terms of distance covered. Came across several hawksbill turtles. Saw one white tip reef shark in the distance. Saw lots of common reef fish, including grouper, anemonefish, butterflyfish, ... Saw one small tuna, lots of soft and hard coral, one big napoleon wrasse, giant sweetlips, Scar (from Finding Nemo). 3mm wetsuit

Tatawa Besar Drift dive. Very poor visibility. We saw mantas from the boat, before even jumping into water. But once in, we lost them. After a short search we gave up and started drifting. It is a beautiful site with lots of soft and hard coral, and a lot of usual suspect fish. Clown fish, angelfish, damselfish, bannerfish, surgeon, sweetlips, boxfish... I saw a hawksbill turtle that Diego missed drifting past. After a lot of drifting, we were preparing for the safety stop, when Diego spotted a ninja manta. And almost immediately, a black tip reef shark swam past

Batu Bolong South One of the top ten dive sites in the world. And deservedly so. Everything is here. Large schools of fish. Predator fishes from sharks to tunas to barracudas to travellys to moray eels. Turtles and mantas are here as well. Even small stuff including nudibranchs can be seen among abundance of soft and hard coral. A big hawksbill turtle sitting on one and eating another coral. A small napoleon was seen. Totally unexpected, one manta showed towards the end of the dive. Big boxfish, but not as big as promised during dive brief. Big group of dogtooth tuna. Lots of fusiliers. 3mm wetsuit.

Manta Point Crazy! Totally deserves the name. Mantas everywhere. Singles, pairs, families of three, sometimes two or three groups of mantas at the same time. Huge shallow dive site, mainly broken coral spread over an area of roughly 3 km by 500 m. Depth 8-10 m. Drifting through it and meeting mantas everywhere. Luckily the current wasn’t too strong, so we could stop and have a good look. To cap it all, I even saw a green turtle at the end of the dive. 3mm wetsuit.
