Diver's Notes

Rescue Diver training due to the odd (5) number of students in the class, I was paired with Andrew McMillen (DM and assisting Jenn Kerr). All went well with the exception of an "Out of Air Drill". I exhaled when I took our my regulator and then tried to inhale a reg (Andrew's Octo) full of water. I started choking on the water and had to bolt for the surface (thankfully, we at a dept of less than 10 feet). I was fine, but it reinforced the idea that we should practice our skills on a regular basis to ensure that we are familiar and comfortable with them.
