7m - 20 min - Dived with Tara Hacker from Central Oregon Diving Llc
My first dive. It was wholly different that the pool dives because of visibility and temperature, both air and water. I remember feeling unsure of myself but kept telling myself that if I can do it in the pool, I can do it in a lake. I was amazed at how well the wet suit kept me warm in 50 degree F water. It snowed a little the night before. Tara, my instructor, was patient with me, especially with mask fogging and flooding.

Second dive was more comfortable. I was able to get more buoyant. The skills test went well, including the mask clearing. Had a difficult time finding my regulator the first time but did fine the second. Need to work more on buoyancy and equalizing. I can tell that equalizing is going to be a problem, even in shallow water.

Had a difficult time staying buoyant. Mask was better today. Ear still hurt from yesterday. Buoyancy and equalizing still an issue. Need to read up on it. Had a nose bleed in water toward the end of the dive. Concerned about deeper dives and how I will deal with equalizing.
