This is my long waiting family trip, diving cum snorkeling at Pulau Redang.
We are big group, 13 divers, 5 new OWD and 15 family members, taking a comfortable coach leaving for Terengganu at 10pm and reaching Merang Jetty @ 6am next morning. We took 3 speed boats from Merang Jetty, went thru a rough ride for 45 min before reaching Redang. Most of us get wet.
After settled down with the accomodation and lunch, I followed them to the 1st snorkeling trip by the resort. Rui had a shock of deep blue and reluctant to jump to the open water. Although he was able to float, he clasped mummy all the time. Takes time to make him comfortable with open water.
Our check out dive at 4pm, shore dive to the house reef, shallow and short dive but the reef consider not bad at this depth.
