We are participating today in the startup contest Techcrunch Disrupt. Support Diveboard by voting for us!
After Gomera we went to Gran Canaria and I wanted to dive there too. I went with "Dive Academy Gran Canaria" in Arguineguin. I wasn't too impressed with the centre. Well equipped but full of arrogant young British trainee DMs.
The DM who took me out was a pleasant lady but I didn't find her charismatic unlike most of the other divers I've met so far, so a bit of a disappointment.
The first dive was in a natural park closed to the airport. I believe it was Arinaga.
It was somehow difficult to get into the water having to negotiate with rocks and eventually jumping as far as possible from them.
Quite uneventful dive with other 3 divers and the DM.
