Rescue Diver Course.
Dive in Lake Pupuke with Simon Collins(Instructor), Andrew Wadekind and Ben, John and Jan as our victims.
Had to deal with nervous diver, cramp removal, runaway ascend and out of air scenario.
When through thermocline at the lake, it got really really murky and we lost John. Had to surface. Went back down and practiced SMB deployment. Next minute, Andrews reel was floating but no Andrew! Funny.
Then after lunch there was a missing diver, had to search and rescue from the bottom. Diver unconcious so had to tow with rescue breaths, then CPR and oxygen at the shore. He survived and we passed!
