Landing Bay Pinnacle Dive with Pacific Hideaway Liveaboard. Simon and Kylie both sick on the way over. Simon's first dive with his RX100 Camera. I had Go Pro and borrowed a 2000 Light and Motion light. Got a nice pic of Scorpion fish yawning. Nice Dive. When we surfaced there was thunder and lightening.
Ngaio Rock Didn't really see anything too exciting. Stingray, Pigfish, Fox Fish, Pink Mao Mao Simon sick on the surface.
Middle Arch - Night Dive Saw loads of stingrays. One massive Stingray kept swimming around and around us, must have been attracted to the lights. Simon Irwin touched it a couple of times. It kept wanting to come and slurp on me....no thanks! Simon says I must stop flapping. Funny. The footage is funny.
Middle Arch - Morning Dive Saw couple more stingrays. Saw a cleaner fish getting harassed by a bunch of Blue Mao Mao and Spotted Demoiselles. Wasn't doing much cleaning!
Magic Wall Quite a bit of surface current so I decided not to take my camera and just be a spotter for Simon. Found a Cadlina Willani Nudi - it would have been no more than 1cm long. They only grow to 2cm! Tiny. Simon got some photos of it. Nice dive. Was good just having a dive without my camera equipment for a change.
Middle Arch This was a Twighlight dive that ended as a Night Dive. Saw a few Nudibranches which was good because they weren't around last time we came to the Poor Knights. The big Yellow and Blue ones (Tambja Verconis)and some Clown Nudis. Good having my Light and Motion video light.
Fraggle Rock I didn't take my camera on this dive. Was a deep dive around some lovely big boulders. Simon spent ages at the end photographing a Gem Nudi. I saw two Tambja verconis (Blue and Yello Nudis) together. Really enjoyable dive.
Magic Wall Best dive of the weekend. Saw a Red Urchin - got a nice photo of it. Got some good photos on this dive. Lots of Nudis, Blue eyed Triple fins and Blennies. Awesome dive.
Blue Mao Mao Arch Great vis but no Mao Mao in the Arch. Quite a bit of surge through the Arch. Spend quite a bit of time out on the sand after the dive taking photos of fish.
