Dhonkalo Thila; a prominent dive site for the Liveaboards and close by Resort Island, located in a middle of a wide channel entrance south of Maalhos Island. The best time to dive here is when the current flow from east to west (out) with a bit strong current.
A quick descent is necessary at least to 15 meters and then again straight to bottom in order to begin the dive at the best vantage point makes this dive only for experienced divers. Once underwater you don’t need to swim much, just hold on to a dead coral or hook to the reef and just watch the manta rays.
