Walked over to Sentan again and this time I got buddied with Tomoko. Haruki was taking care of the advanced newbs and Ben took the rest. We were supposed to stick together as a group with T. and myself allowed to extend if we have air left.
As it turns out we lost Haruki & co shortly after entering - one of the group had some trouble equalizing so they went back to the surface to sort it out. Tomoko and I took the chance and made a dash for freedom to 25m, then spent a fairly leisurely time along the drop-off, checking out the soft coral and sealife. Mostly schools of small fish and the ubiquitous moray eels, but I also found a beautiful blue/white sea urchin which I later found out is quite a poisonous fire urchin.
T. had her camera so stopped often to take close-ups. She got some great shots of morays, lionfish, a waterspider, etc, and took a couple of pics of me as well which was nice. Some of the fish were quite inquisitive and swam around me, especially in the shallower water there were some very colourful ones.
All up this was probably the best dive of the weekend - it was warm and the sun had broken out of the clouds to give some extra colour underwater. Tomoko beat me by 10 bar on air though; must do better!
Lost my knife (again!) on the way out, but luckily found it again after a few minutes snorkling about. Really got to sort this!
