Diver's Notes

First people onsite - beautifully quiet. Descended at the mouth of the tunnel and spotted a huge octopus sitting in front of a rock at 3 meters. He was very chilled and had his long tentacles draped over the rocks. Amazing to watch him change colours and breathing. Looks so alien lie.

Swam through the tunnel, very shallow initially and I was grateful that we were there before any of the boats made the same journey. Lots of big boulders blocking the light before descending and seeing the beautiful blue window. We left the tunnel turning left to aim for the Azure window and Blue hole. Worried about the long swim, we set off at a fast pace but reached the window within 30 minutes. Lovely to see the archway above blocking out the light and the white of the boulders that looked like they fallen away and led to the formation of the window initially.

Jem found a nice little swim through under some of the large boulders on the west side of archway.

Then onto the Blue hole lovely with the light shinning through. Jem dragged me back into the cave again, but always lovely looking back out at the beautiful shade of blue and the Blue hole now lit up a gorgeous shade of orange by the daisy-like looking anemones.

Felt like Jem and I had woken the entire jellyfish population up when at the Blue hole the previous day as it was almost impossible to surface through the jelly-soup!
