Diver's Notes

Decided to concentrate on just the stern part of the wreck for this dive. Ducked down to the huge propeller before entering the wreck from the starboard side. Lots of weaving around within the wreck through the engine room. There was still a lamp shade suspended from the ceiling.

We took the stairs upwards to the accommodation block, finding the toilets and then out onto the main deck. On the top deck by the wheelhouse we watched the barracuda hunting. It felt like they were circling us. Two of them darted towards us about 6 feet away. I screamed before turning to find a barracuda had just caught a small fish. Incredible to see so close up.

A brilliant dive, albeit scary!
