Diver's Notes

Open Water Training Dive #2
Did a confined water session off the shore of the smaller island. Ramon joined us after that for lunch and our open water dive. Skills learnt: gearing up in-water with BCD and weights, buddy checks (BWRAF), snorkel-reg exchange, descend with line, AAS (donor and receiver ascend), full-mask flooding and clearing, neutral buoyancy-LPI, tired diver tow, cramp release. During the confined water session spotted a tiny, translucent jellyfish! So cute! For the open session, we followed Fizah's lead. Saw some cleaner shrimp at a semi-buried tyre, 2 jenkins whiprays, blue-spotted fantail ray, giant moray, COT, blue-ringed angel fish, yellow-tailed barracuda, banded splendor wrasse, parrot fish (dusky, bullet head, ember)! Practised out-of-air/buddy breathing and cramp removal/tired diver tow at the end of the dive.
