Diver's Notes

I participated in the Tanker's Scuba Club River Clean Up. There were about 30 divers in total. Since there was a shortage of instructors, I was chosen to head a group of two. Again, diving in the Oromocto river is challenging enough without having to worry about two other people. Before we got in, Frank noticed that there was something wrong with his BC. I told him that if anything happens, let go of your weights and return to the surface. On our first attempt, we all descended, but no one could find one another; even though we were probably a foot away from one another. When we returned to the surface, Frank said he had to drop his weights because his BC wasn't inflating. This left me and Jordan. We had to hold each other's hands on the descent. Once we got to the bottom it was fine, and the dive was a great success. We picked up a bunch of trash.
