Diver's Notes

Another incredible dive. We straight away saw one of the whale sharks again, who swam closer to us. He circled me and I came within 2 metres. Michael even grabbed his fin and rode him for 10 seconds before being whipped away with a powerful swish of his tail. The dive was aborted first time around, we reached 10 metres before Michael realised our anchor had broken loose and we had drifted. We had to re-dive which made me feel nervous at first. However we still got a good 30 minutes out in the second attempt, although starting the dive with 180bar didn't feel good considering how much I was gulping the air down.
