Diver's Notes

Night Dive
3mm Full Suit
Salt
12lbs (About right)

Special Notes: Pretty good incoming tide/current. Swam toward gulf. At one point current got so strong no choice other than to turn the dive. Once dive was turned, dive turned into a drift dive lol. Was carrying the diver flag, on drift back slack got in line, one buddy got hung on line a bit due to slack that I failed to keep up with. While winding the line back in both of us ascended unknowingly to the surface. Neither of us recognized it so we are not sure if a current took us up or just due to task loading we were not able to maintain our position in the water column. Weird that both of us would go up at the same time and rate. Dive computer showed an ascent rate of maximum of 66 ft/minute. Safety stop was omitted.

Observed fish of note: Cowfish.
