Diver's Notes

Base layer of 7mm wetsuit only.
started off w 14lbs + an extra 2 ankle weights (~2lbs each) that I ended up giving to Nelly after 15mins in the dive because her tank became too boyant as it emptied and she floated up (10lb, 3mm full wetsuit, full ALU tank, booties, no gloves or hood).

Testing nellita's new equipment and we couldn't really figure how her watch worked and mine didn't work at all so we went w no digital depth gauge or timer.
My manual depth gauge no longer works!
My BCD was leaking at the top L seams but it was a very slow leak so still functional.
My computer never started so after I forced it, it kept indicating 0ft deep... now Garbage!

Since Nellita was not properly equipped with a thick wetsuit, we mostly stayed above the thermocline but would dip down below it for 1-2 mins at most and it served as my depth gauge.

Pretty bad dive profile in the end w/o proper depth monitoring on my part, going to ~ 30ft then back up, then down to 20, then back up, etc. I felt a little nauseous for a bit during and after.

I saw 1x 15 cm fish do not too interesting. viz was bad due to recent heavy rainfall and the heavier waves than normal.

Ed had lost 2 beers and Nellita found them both at the bottom about 8-10ft deep and 80-100ft out.
