Diver's Notes

Mantas! We droppedin negetively buoyant due to current and arrived at a mound. We backed off and 5 minutes later, a beautiful, huge manta ray just hovering over the mound for 5 minutes without really moving around. After this it drifted off to nearby coral and came back to the mound. As this happened, another ray came to join in.

We were holding onto rocks / coral at the bottom to resist being carried away by the stronger current.

With the steel tank, i was able to turn over and film rather comfortably but being tossed around from side to side.

NP was face down most of the diver peaking over her shoulder. We surfaced due to low air while the mantas were still there!

Amazing!

Our watches were beeping like crazy for the last 10 minutes because they were set to normal air.

NP puking her guts out multiple times when surfacing and on boat despite taking 1 thai pill, then another after puking (but this did not stay down long...)
