Attempted to find Sheila's knife at the platform that was lost on 3AUG03. Dan stirred the bottom, drastically reducing visibility. We took a 210 degree heading to the boat. Dan disturbed a nest of blue gills, so they became very aggressive. They attacked him in swarms, and he fended them off by bleeding his octopus.
We navigated back to our starting point and dwelled at the bottom until we ended our dive.
