2016-09-29 - Blue Planet House Reef, Dubrovnik, Croatia

29m - 48 min - Dived with Blue Planet

First dive in Croatia on the house reef to establish my diving ability. First time I've dived with a 15 litre tank.Descended into shallow water about two minutes boat trip from the dive centre.Swam across a rocky topography where we encountered a small Octopus that squirted ink everywhere.Moving through a rock formation known locally as "The Love Tunnel", we saw a large Sergeant Clam,Scorpion Fish,a small Moray Eel and a Spider Crab that I've never encountered before.Good vis with sand, sea grass and reef topography.Nice dive.

2016-09-30 - Apple, Dubrovnik, Croatia

33m - 54 min - Dived with Blue Planet

A shore dive at a site called Apple with pretty decent vis.Swam out into deeper water where I saw a Moray Eel and a huge Centipede creature!Lots of Electric Blue Anemone fish.Swam through a couple of cold thermoclines that could be identified by the drop in temperature and the shimmering channels.Multi level dive and performed our safety stop by swimming in the shallows to the beach.Deepest dive to date.Good air consumption with a 15 litre tank.

2016-10-02 - Abyss, Dubrovnik, Croatia

15m - 48 min - Dived with Blue Planet

Descended into about 8 metres of water before swimming over the remnants of a badly broken up wreck and some sea grass before reaching the steep wall with a deep drop off.Noticed a couple of small Moray Eels in the coral and a medium sized Moray out in the open coiled up which was cool. Also swam through a nice canyon where buoyancy had to be good because of the current rushing through and the steep vertical wall.Descended up through the canyon and just relaxed as the surge rocked us back and forth about three metres below the surface which was pretty cool.Encountered many Orange and purple starfish and another Sea centipede/Caterpillar type creature.Nice dive.

2016-10-04 - Taranto Wreck, Dubrovnik, Croatia

45m - 43 min - Dived with Blue Planet

Amazing Tarantto wreck dive!!Descended down to the top of the ships chimney at a depth of 25 metres where we made sure everybody was feeling ok and Narcosis free before descending deeper to the ships deck at a depth of 45 metres!! Here we swam towards the middle of the ship and into the cargo hold. From inside the cargo hold we swam vertically up within the ship as the back end had severed from the front and stands vertically against a wall.Amazing just hovering up the interior of the wreck and back out. This was my first dive with an 18 litre tank and my first decompression dive. Also spent 10 minutes in the oxygen chamber to be safe as I was flying the next morning.Awesome dive.
