Diver's Notes

Walked for ages to the pier forget to put dive box in the car so had to carry it and stash it near the containers. We entered the water on the south side of the pier and swam along the edge of the pier for abit till the vis improved and it was a little deeper. We went down to around 4m were we okay-ed and head off along the edge of the pier looked in side the pier where there was a lot of medium to large lobsters but couldn't reach them. i caught 2 medium 1's and bagged them for Les and Eddy at work. we carried on along the pier looking for lobbies and things theirs was loads of fishing rods reels and tackle from all the fishermen! lots of big rocks and few large beams sticking out to support the pier at the end. we headed round the end of the pier and found it started to get shallower and just bear sandy bottom. did safety stop as part of the incline and surfaced from 4m. interesting dive and 1 i will be doing again as the vis was ok compared to browns and St Mary's.
