2012-12-08 - Vortex Spring, 1517 Vortex Springs Ln, Ponce de Leon, FL, United States

16.2m - 28 min

First Dive in a Florida Spring. Vortex is a private scuba resort used mainly for training. My son Nathan was on the trip doing his open water certification dives. He did the first two at Vortex and the next two at Morrison Springs State Park nearby. Recreational Dive: This dive I dove down to the entrance of the cave and viewed the sign saying you would die if you go any further! I heeded the warning of course. **Pictures taken by John Bentley who was my son's instructor from Tech Dive Center and other certified divers on the trip.
