This dive tookme teo two tries. Unfortunately, what made it memorable was an anxiety attack--something that is neither smart or safe. Adam, as always, os my hero and saved me from my continued flailing.
The entry looked simple enough...sandy opening in the coral that drops about a foot or so. Howeber the waves go from calm to 5ft with no warning and quickly knock you off your feet; add a surface current as well.
We swam out to the reef wall, decended anf immediately spotted a sea turtle. We saw big puffer fish, a massive grunt, adam saw a big tarpin. It was a super healthy reef towards the end of the island.
