Diver's Notes

Nice big wreck! Really tricky entry and epic fail for my exit (fell, knocked tank loose, got slammed into coral twice). It was a long swim out (150 meters) to a double-reef system with the tanker lying on her side on the middle with the aft pointing north.

We descended 70+ feet onto the bow and started our forward pass over the deck and past the wheelhouse. We saw about 5 giant tarpon (at least 5ft in length). We stood together on the prop and made our way along the hull; we didn't penetrate into the holds. We had a giant curious tarpon come within 10 feet of us.

We did one half pass along the reef closest to shore.
