Diver's Notes

This was a brilliant dive. We had fantasitc vis, at around 30-40 m. It was also great because at times you couldn't see because there were too many fish. The fish were mainly sweep, pomferants, mado and similar sorts of fish. Still there were some nice sized sharks too. I saw 2 or 3, and one of the others think they saw at least 10. Perhaps he did, but then perhaps he was just very narced.

This was also my deepest dive, at about 42m. The site itself was quite nice with a terrace sort of layout. It started up at around 18m, dropped off to about 30m, then fell right off down to the sand at about 50-60m. I went over the bottom ledge a little just to break 40m, but didn't want to go down too far.

It was nice to see the sharks around on this dive as we weren't really expecting too much from it. They were near the anchor line when we dropped down, and also near the 20m drop off at the and of the dive. The others were a bit narced too, and missed the sharks at the start, however they did see them at the end.
