Diver's Notes

First dive of the day, off Snappy Tom. Nice dive on the wreck but better conditions would have been good. It was a bit green and a bit dark on the wreck. At the surface there was maybe 5m vis, but down towards the wreck it opened up again to around 15m, maybe a little more at the bottom of the wreck.

Went in through the bow of the ship and back out the starboard side after dropping down a level or two.

Not too much growth on it yet, just barnacles and a lot of algae. It'll be good to get back in another 6 months to see how much it's changed.

Not too much in the way of fish life, just the usual yellow tails, mado and an awful lot of fortescues.

Took the empty camera housing with me on this dive to check I'd replaced the lens correctly and it didn't flood!
