Diver's Notes

Dove teh sea tech ledges - start at the restaurant at teh south end of the dania beach parking lot and follow the cow path on th south that leads near the big condos. Swim uot about 2 pier lengths, past teh first reef line until you see a bunch of little undercuts.

Saw big schools of angelfish, a spotted moray, and many conchs, particularly in the sand beds to the south where the ledges and reef taper off.

Navigation went well - ended up right where we started. Next time need to look for underwater landmarks - we did the directions OK but we sort of got lucky ascending in the correct spot in the N/S direction.

THere's a big anchor among the ledges near the south end (I think).

Weight-wise, I felt overweighted at the end of teh dive when swimming up. I used 4 lbs, one in a pocket and one in the trim pouch on the first tank band. This felt a little better than usual, but still not great. Felt like I turtled more easily. Next time will try 0 lbs weight.
