20m - 37 min - Dived with Steve from Coral Quays Resort
Wonderful warm tropical dive on wreck USS Tucker in Santo. Wreck was sunk by own mine in WW2 and then used for bombing practice so is broken in pieces, but still lots to see and great tropical fish. 3mm shorty suit Quote from Esporito Santo Tourism Association: Struck by friendly mines, the USS Tucker was a US Destroyer resting in about 20 metres of water. The wreck is spread along the sea bed making it possible to swim from stern to bow stopping at "wreck bomies" along the way.

Quote from Espirito Santo Tourism Association: At the end of WWII, thousands of tons of US construction equipment was dumped into the sea. Named for its worth, there are a multitude of bulldozers, cranes, fork lifts, and trucks piled upon one another in this unique dive site. Great dive on an underwater equipment dump
2015-01-08 - Cathedral., Port Vila, Vanuatu
23m - 32 min - Dived with Russell from Big Blue
very clear tropical water tiger fish, black lion fish, trigger fish, nudibranchs dive into a cave/crevice and swim upto top where we surfaced for s few minutes. Hence computer logged this as two dives. Quote from Big Blue Scuba Dive site: An amazing cavern dive, wide and open and with awesome shafts of light filtering down through the open roof. Entry to the Cathedral is in 22m, and after visiting the cavern we exit and follow the wall outside until meeting up with the boat again. Home to shrimp, nudibranchs and leaf scorionfish. This dive is weather dependent. A very comfortable dive if the seas are flat but swells and current can make the cavern a little tricky.
2015-01-08 - Konanda Wreck, Port Vila, Vanuatu
25.7m - 33 min - Dived with Russell from Big Blue
Quote from Big Blue web site: A 45 meter ship, formerly an island trader, was badly damaged by Cyclone Uma in 1987. Later the Konanda was sunk as a dive wreck. An excellent wreck for your first wreck dive or for the wreck addict. Sitting upright on a sandy bottom in 26 meters, still intact, the Konanda is a wreck divers delight. Safe penetration is possible in the holds, cabin and bridge areas, making it a fun dive. Great dive, easy wreck to penetrate in warm clear water. Slightly less visibility than The Cathedral but still very good.
