Diver's Notes

Janson arranged this trip with his usual flare for organisation.
Originally for 27
divers but we ended up with only 17.
Craig was in Perth and Rex was still with baby,
so just Yuki and me.
Also met up with Two, Kate and Patrick from PWC and the young
Astrian guy, and of course Juicy Root boy.
Met Gus (hasn't dived for a long time)
and Antonio (dives regularly with Abyss - must arrange to go diving with him soon).
Promised to go on a night dive next week with Kate, Two & Rex and Craig (Friday?).Trip
was 5 hours South, took the day off on Friday and slept in, picked up regs from Janson
and then headed down.
Stayed at Narooma Motel (very friendly owner), also very cheap
at $22 per person per night.
Rest of the trip was $160 per person and was supposed
to include a barbecue on Saturday night - if Janson had actually told the motel owner.
Boat ride out to Montague Island is 20 minutes, seas were very calm (although Yuki
still managed to get sick).
This is day 1 of 2.

This is the first dive- for Grey
Nurse Sharks on the Northern side of Montague Island.
Yuki and I dropped on the Western
side of the boat and headed around to the West, seeing a glimpse of the back-end
of a Grey Nurse, plus two wobbigongs and a port jackson.
Lots of other fish and huge
schools of them, enjoyed just lying back and looking up at all the fish around us.
