Diver's Notes

Beach Hopper II: Second dive. anchored at Shale Island. This was a new spot for me I look forward to checking it out some more on a different dive. I did not see any of hte tiny octipie or the anchor, saddly. This turned out be a frustring dive and called it early and headed up. I had had a bunch of problems with my left dry glove getting a good seal on the. I think the main issue is I need to trim the liners (did that tonight), but I could not get it to not leak air. So I decided what the hell lets find out what a real glove leak feels like controled. So I wend down,a nd yep my glove was full of water and it was cold, though actualy not that bad. Low exchange so once it filled my hand warmed it up :p. Unfurtunityl it leaked a bit through my dry suit latex seal too, just a bit but that gave me a wet foot for the ride home. Not awfull or anything but vaugly anoying.
The realy problem I was having is I could not for hte life of my stop my mask from leaking. I'm going to take it apart and do a super through cleaning. It was super anoying, no matter what I did it just started filling up again. I even took it off, but it back on reset the seal and makde sure it was clear of the hood etc. ARGH! Kind of wrecked the dive and salt water at the point was making my contacts burn bad. So I headed up and cut my losses befor I managed to drown myself :p. I really like the dive rite real one of the guys was ueing for his path line, day glow orange so easy to see, just awsome.
