2014-06-29 - Three Sisters, East End Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands

33.3m - 39 min - Dived with Ocean Frontiers, Ltd.

Three rock pillars off a wall. We only made it to two pillars because someone in our group ran out of air. We saw a large filefish (scrawled?) an unknown ray, and a small trumpet fish. The Black Durgons here are especially beautiful. The reef had less life than I'm used to.

2014-06-29 - Sands Of Kev, East End Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands

18.9m - 49 min - Dived with Ocean Frontiers, Ltd.

Small sections of coral reef in a large circle with a sandy area in the middle. We saw a nurse shark, a huge squirrel fish, and a giant frenc angel. The reefs in Grand Cayman seem much deeper than in Roatan and Key Largo - makes it deceptive for air consumption.

2014-06-30 - Lighthouse Wall, East End Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands

30.1m - 36 min - Dived with Ocean Frontiers, Ltd.

Wall dive with a swim through canyon that ended over a flat reef. Not a lot of fish but there were several lion fish. Towards the end of the dive we saw several reef sharks. I was over weighted for this dive and had trouble controlling my buoyancy. There was also a very large lobster - dinner for four!

2014-06-30 - Dragon's Lair, East End Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands

19.8m - 51 min - Dived with Ocean Frontiers, Ltd.

Great dive! Lots of swim through caves. We saw a lot of tarpon and a swimming moray eel. Not a lot of great life but the caves were really great. There was some reef that looked like a dragon's head which gave the site its name.

2014-07-01 - Crusher's Wall, East End Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands

33.7m - 44 min - Dived with Ocean Frontiers, Ltd.

Dive site had a swim-through in which it got completely dark inside -- a little scary but awesome! It also had an underwater cable running to Honduras that holds cable, internet, and phone cables. There was a coral grave yard and I sat and watch jawfish come in and out of the holes for awhile.

2014-07-01 - Kelly's Cavern's, East End Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands

16.9m - 51 min - Dived with Ocean Frontiers, Ltd.

Lots of swim-throughs! Really fun! I saw a slipper lobster and a king crab. Regular lobsters are very large in Grand Cayman so far! Justin and Kevin saw a reef shark and Justin saw an octopus. The reef was really beautiful! I was a bit under weighted - 8lbs is best for me with my wet suit.

2014-07-02 - Black Rock Reef, East End Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands

22.9m - 60 min - Dived with Ocean Frontiers, Ltd.

The reef structure wasn't that impressive but we saw a lot of life: a lettuce sea slug; a squirrel fish with a mysid shrimp on it; blennies; a pipehorse; and schools of grunts chubs, and schoolmasters. Also saw some porgies, mutton snappers, and a lot of parrot fish. A great dive for the variety of life!

2014-07-02 - Cinderella's Castle, East End Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands

17m - 52 min - Dived with Ocean Frontiers, Ltd.

This site had a lot of fun swim-throughs. Unfortunately, there was a current and, since it was overcast out, it as kind of dark. The conditions made what might have been a great dive, only ok. I saw what I think was a yellow stingray half buried in the sand. Also saw some groupers.

2014-07-03 - Babylon, East End Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands

32.5m - 54 min - Dived with Ocean Frontiers, Ltd.

A wall dive with a large rock pillar next to it ending on a flat reef with a sandy area. Between the was and the pillar there were a bunch of sea plumes which we swam through. We saw a large king crab, some french angels, and two conchs that were looking out of their shells at me.

2014-07-03 - Little Bluff Reef, East End Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands

16.5m - 63 min - Dived with Ocean Frontiers, Ltd.

The reef structure wasn't very interesting but it was very beautiful with a lot of life. I saw a file clam, a lot of sea urchins and tube worms, a few nudibranchs on the bottom of a sea fan, and a large school of grunts. A very beautiful dive.

30.3m - 53 min - Dived with Ocean Frontiers, Ltd.

A wall dive that had a swim through hole halfway through which lead up to a flat reef and a sandy area. I saw a mantis shrimp and a trigger fish off in the distance. There was a turtle but I couldn't find it. Saw another file clam and some urchins.

2014-07-04 - Omega Reef, East End Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands

17m - 56 min - Dived with Ocean Frontiers, Ltd.

A very nice reef dive. We saw a lot of cool things - a chain moray eel, a smooth trunk fish, a white spotted file fish, urchins, file clams, three Caribbean reef squid, sponge brittle stars, a cowrie, etc. A great dive!
