Diver's Notes

Second dive of the day. Quite an interesting one.

This was planned as a drift dive a long side a long reef wall. The dive briefing was quite complete and included the details on how to keep the group together, etc.

The current was running at about 30 knots so we knew it was pretty strong.

As soon as we went down, I could feel the strong push of the current . As we started the dive, the viz was really good.

It was hard to stay behind the DM so at some point I has to grab hold to wait for the rest of the group. Even there, I could feel the strong current.

After a while, the conditions deteriorated, viz was limited and we found an undercurrent that made navigation complicated.

Had to come up after 21 min and then get to the boat to catch up with the rest of the group.
