25.9m - 46 min - Dived with Adventure Scuba Diving
First dive ever in Indonesia, short boat ride (30 min) to the site. Sandy bottom, dark sand mostly from volcanic origin, very well preserved reef with abundant life. Massive schools of fish swimming around, had the chance to see snake eel, surgeon fish, etc. There is a very nice series of sculptures under water to explore. Some current during the dive but DM planned it very well so at the end, safety stop was also part of the sightseeing. Diving operator (Adventure Scuba Diving) is very well organized and service in/off he water was great. After the dive, DM organized some fruit and lunch in the boat!

21.6m - 21 min - Dived with Adventure Scuba Diving
Second dive of the day. Quite an interesting one. This was planned as a drift dive a long side a long reef wall. The dive briefing was quite complete and included the details on how to keep the group together, etc. The current was running at about 30 knots so we knew it was pretty strong. As soon as we went down, I could feel the strong push of the current . As we started the dive, the viz was really good. It was hard to stay behind the DM so at some point I has to grab hold to wait for the rest of the group. Even there, I could feel the strong current. After a while, the conditions deteriorated, viz was limited and we found an undercurrent that made navigation complicated. Had to come up after 21 min and then get to the boat to catch up with the rest of the group.
