Diver's Notes

20 min boat ride to the dive site. Group was divided in two and I decided to dive with the 18 mt. limit group. Turned out to be mostly beginners.

One of the divers had problems with ear compensation and had to wait around 12 min at 30 ft. for him.

After that, we had a rather smooth dive. No current, good visibility, Divers in the group struggled with buoyancy and keeping proper distance but overall it was a good dive.

We saw barracudas and large schools of fish.

Species Identified

Sphyraena sphyraena (Linnaeus, 1758) (Mediterranean barracuda) Found in coastal and offshore waters . Feeds mostly on fish, less often on cephalopods and crustaceans .
