5.6m - 46 min - Dived with Shane P Mc Mahon

Wow what a nice dive, my first night dive. Loads of tiny lumenessent creatures in the water, dog fish sleeping on the sea bed and crab (of course) hiding under rocks and sea weed. Calm sea with a bit of a running current.

2001-08-19 - Dalkey Island, Dalkey , Ireland

31.5m - 28 min - Dived with Shane P Mc Mahon

1st deep water dive at the back of Dalky Island. 3 other divers in my group being assessed by our instructor. Completed a timed task on the bottom by writing the alphabet backwards on a slate. First time experiencing being slightly "narked". All of a sudden our group experienced a fast moving current. One of my fins was ripped from my foot. Instructor lanyarded us together to keep the group together and ended the dive. What an experience for my first deep dive.

15.5m - 19 min - Dived with Shane P Mc Mahon

Assessed on Boat Dive procedures as part of my Advanced Open Water certification. Nice relaxing dive on the back of Dalkey Island. Entered the water at the southern tip and followed the islands cliff face underwater heading in a NNE direction. This was the final exam assessment and I am now an Advanced Diver.
